Don’t worry, little miss. We’ll figure out what happens later, just get here at your own pace.
Nazuna: K-Kurochin?! Is Anzu okay…?
Kuro: Oh, she’s fine. Alive and kicking.
Apparently the train before hers got into an incident, so it affected the departure time for hers.
Sounds like they still don’t know what time the train’s gonna run again. She said she’s going to come here from the station on foot so she can still be on time.
But the little miss is still some ways from the station. I can’t let her walk that far.
Nazuna: I-Is that so, thank goodness~…I thought something awful happened when she said she’d gotten into an incident.
But it’s good that Anzu’s fine. Being late is understandable when it’s this sort of situation.
But since we don’t know what time the train’s going to start running again…we should prepare for a plan to perform without Anzu.
Shinobu: C-Chairman-dono. Red Riding Hood is the key character of this play. Without Anzu-dono playing her, there is no way we can go on~!
Nazuna: So right now, we need to choose someone here to replace Anzu.
Soumachin’s not a member of the Broadcasting Committee, and he’s already helping us out of his own good will. That leaves me and Shinobun…
I’m the committee chairman, and the one who suggested doing a puppet show here at the kindergarten.
So I’ll take responsibility and play Red Riding Hood too. After that, I have a favour I want to ask Kurochin.
I said it earlier too, but I want Kurochin to play Red Riding Hood's mom.
I don't want to keep asking you since you said you're not good at acting, but apart from you there's no one else I can ask.
Kuro: Haven't I said before that men shouldn't bow their heads so easily?
Honestly. If you play Red Riding Hood and the wolf wouldn't it pretty much be a one-man act?
I’m not good at acting…or I guess I should say it's hard for me. But it’s still experience in the end. Besides, I can't just stand by and not help a classmate in trouble.
I’ll play Red Riding Hood. But it’d be too hard if I play the mom too, so you do it, Nito.
Souma: In that case, I can play Red Riding Hood’s mother. The “kyaracter settin” for the granny and the mother are similar, after all. (1)
And there are few lines to memorize, so it should be feasible to do so before the performance.

Nazuna: OK~ It’s probably more convenient acting with the puppets, right?
Red Riding Hood has movements in the show, so it’s best to go through those, yeah?
Kuro: Yeah. Okay, let’s try Red Riding Hood’s first scene.
“I’m Red Riding Hood. I’m getting ready to visit Granny. Mom, I’m going out~”

Nazuna: Uwa?! Kurochin, that’s dangerous?!
Shinobu: Chairman-dono?! A-Are you alright~?! Kiryu-dono’s fist almost knocked into you just now?!
Kuro: Whoa, sorry! I dunno if it's ‘cause I was trying to remember the lines and do motions at the same time, but my body just shifted automatically into karate stance.
if I hurt Nito then the puppet show would really have to be called off. It’s my bad you fell, lemme help you up.
Nazuna: Nn~ You gave me a scare. That was dangerous, thank goodness I dodged it in time.
Kuro: I’m really sorry, Nito. I’ll be more careful next time…
Speaking of, the story would become a mess if Red Riding Hood punched the wolf in a one hit KO.
