Mao: Yo, Takamine. Good afternoon~ ♪
Midori: Oh, it’s Isara-senpai…good afternoon…
So you were late as well…did something happen with the Student Council again?
Mao: “Halloween Party” just ended, so not today. For better or for worse, the Student Council have to take a breather too.
A classmate just happened to need help with day duty, so I stopped to help him some.
What about you, did you run into anything troublesome?¹
Midori: Does a sudden pop quiz count…
Ah, but please don’t take that to heart…since you’re someone who worries about people too easily...
Actually, you’re no better than Morisawa-senpai…always minding other people’s business alongside your own…
I feel like dying just bothering about my own things…
Mao: Is that so? I feel like I’m a lot worse than Buchou. He really is like the sun~
Midori: Senpai, you shouldn’t be so self-deprecating…you’re clearly the better one…
When I see you all energized I think “that’s good,” and feel at peace…
But when it’s Buchou, I just think “what a disaster,” and feel really uneasy…
Chiaki: Takamine, Isara! Both of you have finally arrived!
Did I hear “disaster” just now? What happened?! Do you need a hero of justice to debut?!
Midori: No, you heard wrong. We don’t need you.
Also, don’t talk when you’re running laps, everything you say sounds garbled.
Chiaki: Whoa, Takamine scolded me again! But you’re right this time, I have no excuse!
Well, as long as everything is alright! You two should warm up quickly, so you can battle for the day!
I’ll go on ahead first! We’ll meet again later, friends…☆
Mao: Buchou sure sounds cool~ As expected of Ryuseitai. I always get the feeling you’re all very good at saying these kinds of things ♪
Midori: Is it really cool…? I think it’s dumb…

Mao: What’s up, what are you muttering about? You stopped warming up, you know?
Midori: Nothing much, I just thought of something my classmates and I talked about…
That’s right, after this I might go watch a movie with a classmate. Do you want to come along, Senpai…?
Mao: Huh? Sure I can, but why me?

Mao: No, no~ I actually feel blessed all of a sudden ♪
What kind of movie is it going to be? I want to watch something lighthearted~

Mao: Ahaha, you seem to have the wrong idea on what hot-bloodedness really is, Takamine…

Did you finish your laps? Then keep on running…preferably until you have no more energy to speak…
Chiaki: There it is again! Look how differently he treats me!
Sorry, I was just admiring Isara, and got overexcited!
How nice, Isara! It must be nice to be that popular with your juniors!
Sengoku has always stuck close to you, and now even Takamine’s taken a liking to you!²
Midori: Taichou, were you listening to our conversation just now…? I’ll make this clear now, I didn’t invite you to the movie, okay…?
Chiaki: Oh, don’t worry. I know how to be considerate too.
You wanted to let Isara relax a bit. That kindness is moving, so I absolutely will not disturb it.
Besides, heroes aren’t so free that they can intervene in everything.
In other words, I’ll just be on the sidelines this time, waiting.
But what I’m looking forward to even more is the day that Takamine faces me honestly.
