Kuro: Oh. Morning, Nito. You look like you’re workin’ real hard on something. Is it a script for the Broadcasting Committee?
Nazuna: Uwa?! Kyu-Kyurochun?!
Kuro: My name's not "Kyurochun".
Anyway, did I scare you?
…Hm? It's rare to see you sewing, Nito. Did you start getting into it too?
Nazuna: No, it’s not like that…I’m only sewing for an activity we’re doing in the Broadcasting Committee.
Kuro: Mm, I don’t really get it. Wouldn’t sewing be more of a Handicrafts Club activity?
Nazuna: Sorry, I didn’t explain properly~ Um, we’re performing a puppet show for a nearby kindergarten.
So now I’m making the puppets we need for it~
Kuro: Oh, so that’s how it is. But why a puppet show? Since you guys are the Broadcasting Committee, wouldn’t you do a storybook recitation instead?
Nazuna: Yep. I also thought about something like that at first, but we have a member who’s afraid of strangers.
I didn’t feel like he’d have enough confidence to recite smoothly in front of the kids, so I started thinking about a puppet show instead, and it went from there.

Nazuna: But it’s really hard making puppets~
I borrowed books from the library and prepared everything I needed, but I’m already stuck at the basics.
Thread the needle through, in and out, rinse and repeat.
If this goes on I might not even have time to practice~ I’m even thinking about asking someone else to do it and leaving it at that.
But since it’s my own idea, I don’t want to rely on someone else either.
Kuro: So that’s how it is; I did hear something about the Broadcasting Committee broadening their horizons. It’s a good thing to be passionate about work, but you shouldn’t force yourself.
Nazuna: Ahaha, thank you~ I feel much better after talking to you, Kurochin. O~kay! I'll work hard for the sake of the kids' smiles~ ♪
Kuro: Actually, Nito. This might just be me sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong, but since you have to practice for the puppet show and all, do you want me to help you with making them?
I’m good at sewing, so as long as you tell me what you want I can make it happen.
Nazuna: But I can’t rely on you for everything, Kurochin…it might be a bit of a hassle, but could you teach me how to sew instead?
Kuro: No problem. I don’t dislike teaching people, anyway. There’s no time to lose, so let’s start after school today.
Nazuna: Mm! I'll be under your care then, Kurochin~ ♪
I should tell Shinobun and the rest how it’s going to work then.
While we make the puppets, they can start rehearsing.
Kuro: Right. What’s the puppet show about, actually? I can’t start not knowing what characters there are.
Nazuna: Ahh, the theme is “Red Riding Hood.” We were gonna read the story to the kids at first, but then we decided on the puppet show.
Kuro: So we need Red Riding Hood, the granny, the wolf and the hunter. That makes four puppets.
You’re working on Red Riding Hood now, so I can just change it here and there later. You can make the wolf.
Nazuna: Okay! Go ahead and make her look better if you think she needs it ♪
Kuro: Well, Red Riding Hood is the main character, so she should stand out more anyway.
Speaking of ways to improve stuff, I'm not too good at making cute things…It'd be nice if there were someone better at it to give me advice.
Nazuna: Ah, I can help with that!
Ra*bits’ selling point is cuteness, after all~ so I’m especially sensitive to cute gestures and props or whatever ♪
Kuro: Then I’ll leave any questions I have to you, Nito. It’s better to ask the actor for Red Riding Hood directly, after all.
Nazuna: Hm? I’m not playing Red Riding Hood, though?
Kuro: Is that so? I thought you were.
Then who is playing her? Come to think of it, who’re you playing, Nito?
Nazuna: About that…Oops. We’d better get back to our seats and sit down, or else Kunugi-sensei will mark us down as late.
Kuro: Is it time already? And I thought I’d come to school pretty early today. Time sure passes when you’re chatting.
Let’s talk later then, Nito.
